Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide free, high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

Rev. Richard Evans
Associate Pastor
Richard was ordained in Wales (1998) and joined our staff in 2008. Richard helps oversee JPC's compassionate care to those in our church and community. Richard helps oversee our Stephen Ministry, Mental Health & Wellbeing ministry, Missions, and works closely with our Deacons. Richard is also a trustworthy and supportive pastor to anyone going through a difficult season of life. Alongside his wife, Alex, and their cats, he loves living and serving in the Rogue Valley.
